Over the last 140 years St. Luke’s Home has built a strong and well respected reputation as a leading provider of residential care and support services to older people in the Cork region. In more recent years, we have developed a particular expertise in the care of those with Alzheimers and other forms of Dementia.
We are delighted to join forces once again with local company RCI who are very generously sponsoring holiday prizes for the first man and woman home.
We also like to welcome the sponsorship from the law firm Ronan Daly Jermyn who have offices locally in Mahon Point.
2016 will be the second year for the Memorial 5km Run and we are delighted to have these sponsors on board. The idea is to remember all those who spent their last months/years in St. Luke’s Home with an event that involves the local residential and business communities as well as friends, families, volunteers and supporters of the Home.
Currently the annual cost of running St. Luke’s Home is not met by the funding received from the HSE. As a registered charity income from our fundraising events is used to fund the Therapy and Activity Programme at the Home. All proceeds from our 5km Memorial Run will be directed to this programme.
Thank you for your support.
